PDC’s 2019 Annual Report

Painted Dog Conservation (PDC) has published their 2019 annual report “On The Frontline of Conservation.”  You can download the full report HERE.

The report provides a summary of PDC’s work throughout the year, including Monitoring & Research, Anti-Poaching, Education, Community, and Rehabilitation





A few highlights from PDC’s year in action!


    • 193 painted wolves in 32 packs in the Hwange National Park
    • 229 painted wolves in 24 packs in the Mid-Zambezi Mana Pools Population
    • 759 anti-poaching patrols
    • 2462 snares recovered by the anti-poaching team
    • 18 poachers arrested
    • 13,481 children through the Iganyana Bush Camp since 2004
    • 491 patients transported by PDC-donated ambulance “Mashambo”
    • 250,000+ people benefit from the PDC HIV/AIDS Healthcare Program
