Painted Wolves: A Wild Dog’s Life by Nicholas Dyer and Peter Blinston has been a huge success. Of the 4,000 copies originally printed, very few remain unsold. The money raised from the book was the catalyst for funding the initial years of the Painted Wolf Foundation.

Today we are offering 30 books for sale to Part of the Pack members. An additional 20 books have been offered to Margot Raggett’s “Remembering Wildlife” programme to help raise funds for their excellent work.

We expect these to sell out very quickly, but if you are unlucky enough not to get a copy of the book this time, please email us at info@paintedwolf.org so that we can better assess demand and potentially print the second edition of Nick and Peter’s testament to this incredible species.

The book Painted Wolves: A Wild Dog’s Life by Nicholas Dyer and Peter Blinston helped PWF raise US$200,000 to establish the Painted Wolf Foundation and develop our conservation-wide consultation. It also funded our strategy document Securing the Future of the Painted Wolf led by Diane Skinner.

We have now run out of books to sell, although we know there is still significant demand for a reprint. However, the reprint would cost many tens of thousands of dollars but any profit we make would go to the Painted Wolf Foundation.

If you were unlucky enough not to get a copy in our limited offering above, please click on the link below to let us know if you would be interested in purchasing a copy if we were to reprint.

Thank you!
