CCF’s mission is to be the internationally recognised centre of excellence in the conservation of cheetahs and their ecosystems.
Although CCF’s main focus is the cheetah, they have begun work on the painted wolf in a particular landscape in two community conservancies in Namibia where the species has been found to persist despite very unfavourable conditions.
CCF’s approach is to work with all stakeholders to develop best practices in research, education, and land use to benefit all species, including people.
