The Painted Dog Fund is the only fund in existence totally focused on the conservation of the species.

The Painted Dog Fund is a joint initiative between the Painted Wolf Foundation and the Wildlife Conservation Network (WCN).

It aims to fill the gaps in conservation and the constraints that inhibit protecting painted wolves such as a lack of funding, limited collaborations between conservationists, low awareness of the species, and a diluted rather than targeted approach to conservation of the species.

The Fund offers donors the peace of mind that their investment in the painted wolves is following a clear strategy created in collaboration with the top conservationists and scientists in the field.

They can also take comfort that their donations are professionally managed with the highest level of governance overseen by both PWF and WCN.

And of course, following the WCN Wildlife Fund model, 100% of the donations go directly towards projects and initiatives that support the painted wolf.

PWF is charged with managing the Fund; leading the Fund’s strategy, investment process and monitoring the projects that the Painted Dog Fund invests in, ensuring they deliver the best value to both donors and painted dogs alike.

PWF is focused on finding and developing projects and initiatives that will have the greatest impact on reaching the goal of doubling painted wolf numbers by 2055 and thus taking them from the edge of extinction.

The Painted Dog Fund is focused on providing the financial resources to make them a reality.
