New paper on artificial pack formation

We are excited to see yet another recent scientific publication about Lycaon pictus (painted wolves)! This time it’s in Animal Conservation, a journal of the Zoological Society of London (ZSL).

Painted wolves are a very social animal. It was discovered that when re-introducing painted wolves back into the wild they were much more successful if they were joined together with other wolves beforehand, artificially forming a pack. The paper explores what exactly is needed to make sure this transition is successful.
