In October, Wildlife Conservation Network (WCN) is hosting their annual Expo event in San Francisco, bringing together a vibrant community of donors, passionate supporters, leading conservationists and the WCN Wildlife Fund directors, including Nick Dyer of the Painted Dog Fund.
WCN’s Wildlife Funds, which include the Lion Recovery Fund, Elephant Crisis Fund, Rhino Recovery Fund, and Pangolin Crisis Fund, have proven highly impactful, granting over 125 million USD over the last decade. The Painted Dog Fund, managed by PWF, adds to this stable and aims to provide the needed investment for a much-neglected species.
The event is a great opportunity for Nick to talk to enthusiastic supporters in person and discuss the strategies we have in place to save the species. Nick will also give a talk on the Saturday afternoon which everyone at Expo is invited to attend.
Being in San Francisco together, the Fund Directors also get an opportunity to discuss in person their individual approaches to saving their species and work on synergies that that will have a significant impact on a landscape level.
The WCN Expo is a demonstration of the passion people have for African wildlife and the powerful impact WCN and their Wildlife Funds are making.
